Veronica Gindhart Harless

Veronica Gindhart Harless, 64 of Bel Alton, MD went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2017. Mrs. Harless was born on June 19, 1952 in Pennsylvania and was a daughter of the late Warren Blaine Gindhart, Sr. and Veronica Combs Gindhart. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Warren Blaine Gindhart, Jr. Veronica loved the outdoors, going fishing, her dog Max, her pet birds and her other animals and the company and love of her family. She is survived by her husband, Harry Vance Harless, Sr. of Bel Alton, two sons, Harry Vance Harless, Jr. and his wife Jeanie of Narrows, Raymond Pfiel of Alabama, three daughters, Sharon H. Loving and her husband David of Pearisburg, Lily H. Whittaker and Larry Whittaker, Sr. of Blacksburg, Vera D. Harless of Bel Alton, two brothers, Howard Gindhart of Salt Lake City, UT, Vince Combs and his wife Liz of England, 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 9, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with the Rev. Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Harless Family Cemetery in Pearisburg, VA. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home Monday from 12 – 2 pm before the service.
