Sandra Jane Viars Robertson

Sandra Jane Viars Robertson, of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg. Sandra was born on May 5, 1950 in Pearisburg VA and was a daughter of the late Julius Lacy Viars and Wanda Rock Viars. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Anita V. Lucas and Cheril V. Pulliam and one brother Randy L. Viars. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Russell (Cleve) Robertson of Pearisburg, one daughter, Miranda L. Viars of Pearisburg, one brother, Wayne C. Viars of Blacksburg, one sister, Carrie V. Spicer and husband Larry of Maybrook and several nieces and nephews. Sandra graduated Giles High School in 1968 and attended Marshall University. She was a librarian at the Pearisburg Town Library for 43 years. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with the Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 - 4 pm at Givens Funeral Home.
