Rubie Hopkins Clear.

Rubie Hopkins Clear, 91 of Pearisburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Clear was born on December 7, 1925 in Bear Springs, Giles County, VA, and was a daughter of the late Snow Dennis Hopkins and Mary Lillian Howell Hopkins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. (Jack) Clear, Jr., one daughter, Janet Marie Schrader, one son, Fred Allison Munsey, two sisters, Stella Wright, Dorothy Simpkins and two brothers, Herbert Dennis Hopkins and Henry L. Hopkins. Mrs. Clear was a member of the D.A.V. Aux. 106 in Lynnhaven, Fl., she was of the Methodist faith and she loved her family and loved going to yard sales. She is survived by four daughters, Donna Bain of Vinton, Myra Sanders and John of Staffordsville, Patricia Price and Gary of Dublin, Judy Mann and Marvin of Ballard, WV, one son, Mikel Wayne Munsey and Lila of Columbus, OH, one brother, Frank Leo Hopkins and Jo-Ann of Roanoke, fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a special niece, Brenda Simpkins Carson of Blacksburg. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg at 2pm with the Rev. Shahn Wilburn officiating with burial following in the Hamblin Cemetery in Bears Springs, VA.
