Roberta Maye Knapp Hutsenpiller

In Loving Memory of Roberta Maye Knapp Hutsenpiller HUTSENPILLER, ROBERTA MAYE KNAPP, 93 of Ripplemead, VA passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Mrs. Hutsenpiller was born on May 7, 1911 in Dawson, WV and was a daughter of the late Hurbert Patrick and Mary Alice Woolard Knapp. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Nellie J. McMillion, Frankie F. Surbaugh and 1 brother, Woodrow M. Knapp. Mrs. Hutsenpiller a graduate of Teachers School in WV and taught in a one room school for 9 years. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, a faithful member of the Anne S. Holiman Sunday School Class, a regular attendee of the Prayer and Share group and an active member of the Ripplemead Community Club. She is survived by one son, James F. Hutsenpiller of Ripplemead, one sister, Mary E. Humphrey of Lewisburg, WV, 2 grandchildren, Roberta H. and David Coleson of Anderson, IN, William T. Hutsenpiller of Alexandria, VA and one great granddaughter, Tiffanie M. Coleson. Funeral services will be conducted, Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg with Dr. Tony Collins and Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
