Richard Keith Blankenship

Richard Keith Blankenship, 52 of Pearisburg, VA. went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2016 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg. Richard was born on August 5, 1964 in Baltimore, Md and was a son of the late John Walter Blankensip and Mary Charlene Carroll Blankenship of Pearisburg. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Russell Blankenship. Richard was a graduate of Pulaski County High School, a former trucker driver and loved to fish and ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He is survived by one son, Cody Blankenship of Pearisburg and his fiancé, Kayla Oliver of Hiwassee, his mother, Mary Charlene Carroll Blankenship of Pearisburg, one brother, Danny Blankenship and his wife Debra of Baldwin, MD, one sister, Kathy B. Graham of Princeton, WV, two nieces, one nephew and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Givens Funeral Chapel at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Roger Carroll officiating with entombment following in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton, WV.
