Phillip Wayne Perkins

Phillip Wayne Perkins, 67 of Pearisburg, VA, formerly of Dublin, went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2017 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Phillip was born on December 8 1949 in Pearisburg and was a son of the late Vernin Eugene and Nadine Clara Woods Perkins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Steven Darnell Perkins and one brother, James Perkins. Phillip was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a retired employee the Pulaski Furniture Co. and Ethan Allen Furniture Co. in Pulaski. Phillip loved the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Catherine (Janie) Dalton Perkins of Newbern, two sons, Danny Ray Perkins of Bland, Roy Wayne Perkins of Salem, one sister, Norma Walters of Pearisburg, two brothers, Gary Perkins of Pearisburg and Darrell Perkins and eight grandchildren.
