Pauline Perkins Gordon

Pauline Perkins Gordon, 89 of Pearisburg, VA was called from the care of her family to her heavenly home on May 1, 2014. Pauline was the daughter of the late John Daniel and Fannie Mae Sartin Perkins. Being the last one of her family she long to see her loved ones who have gone before her. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lydnah Bernard (L. B.) Gordon. Those left to cherish her memory are “son and daughter in law,” Dewayne and Emily Perkins, grandsons Troy and Ethan, brother in law, Robert “Jr.” Holt and sister in law, Ethel Ann Perkins. She was also loved by numerous nieces and nephews. Pauline was a faithful active member of Faith Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church in Pearisburg, VA for over 30 years. She served as benevolence/care minister always caring for others. She was a retired employee of the Celanese Corp in Narrows with over 40 years service. Home going services will be held at Faith Temple on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 2 p.m with Pastor Debbie Hutton and Rev Allen Bouldin officiating with burial following in the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bane. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 3rd from 6-8 p.m at the church.
