Patricia "Pat" Sale Moran

Patricia "Pat" Sale Moran, 93 of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg. Pat was born on August 20, 1928, in Elkhorn, WV and was a daughter of the late Ernest Karl Sale and Sybil Newby Sale. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Taylor Craig Moran, 3 sisters, Libby Ivery, Emily Moseley, Margaret Coburn and 1 brother, Sonny Sale. Pat was one of the longest serving members of the Pearisburg First United Methodist Church, also serving many years in the choir. She loved the company of her family and loved using her talents, sharing the crafts she made with others. She is survived by three daughters, Trish M. Psathos (Anthony), Kim M. Ellis and Karla Moran all of Pearisburg, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 6, 2022, at 2pm at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg at with the Rev Dr Brian Burch and the Rev Dr Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 1 - 2 pm at the church.
