Ollie Mae Burton Perkins

Ollie Mae Burton Perkins, 93 of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek, Va. Mrs. Perkins was born on November 2, 1920 in Giles County and was a daughter of the late Sullivan Burton and Della Thompson Burton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Courtlin Perkins, one son, Roger Lee Perkins, three sisters, Daisy Munsey, Dolly Perkins, Eresha Conners and two brothers, Albert Lee Burton and James Burton. Mrs. Perkins was a member of Faith Temple in Pearisburg. She is survived by four sons, Charles Perkins of Big Stony Creek, William (Bobby) Perkins of Pearisburg, James Perkins of Christiansburg, Fearlie Joe Perkins of Pearisburg and one brother, Robert Burton of Pearisburg and . Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 11:00am at the Burton Family Cemetery in the Guinea Mountain area of Pearisburg with the Rev. Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating. Givens Funeral Home is serving the family.
