Odessa Jones Walters

In Loving Memory of Odessa Jones Walters WALTERS, ODESSA JONES, 91 of Pearisburg , VA. went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2008 at Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg , VA.   Mrs. Walters was born on April 26, 1916 in Ballard , WV . And was a daughter of the late Pleasant (Pleas) Jones and Nannie Brooks Jones.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Buford Elwood Walters, one brother and seven sisters.  Mrs. Walters was a member of the Pearisburg Baptist Church .  She is survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 24, 2008 at 2:00pm at Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with the Reverend Ward Harris officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.  The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home Sunday evening from 6 – 8pm.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at givensfuneralhome.com.
