Mikel Wayne Hare

Mikel Wayne Hare, 54 of Pulaski, VA., passed away Sunday September 9, 2012 at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg. Mikel was born on March 16, 1958 in Pearisburg, VA, and was a son of the late Robert Ward Hare, II and Ethel Lee Parcell Hare. Besides his father, he was preceded in death one sister, Reba Hare and one nephew, Shawn Hare. Mikel was employed as a pipefitter, attended Bobwhite Church of God in Pulaski and was a big fan of Nascar and football, especially Dale Earnhart, Jr. and the Miami Dolphins. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna Moran of Pulaski, three sons, Anthony H. Camper of Dublin, Jason Wayne Hare of Blacksburg, Danny Snaveley, one daughter, Angela Moran of Pulaski, four sisters, Janice Hayes of Narrows, Donna Lowry of Newport News, Dianne Edwards of Richmond, Marsha Kessinger of Gold Bond, seven grandchildren, Amber Victoria, Alexis, Rachelle, Logan, Landon and Lucas and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with Pastor Mike Sweeney officiating with burial following in Heavenlyview Cemetery, Wolf Creek, VA. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral home two hours before the service from 12 – 2.
