Mary Jane Moye Stafford

Mary Jane Moye Stafford, 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 3, 2020 at Heritage Hall Rich Creek Nursing Home. Mary Jane was born on May 31, 1938 in Pearisburg, VA and was a daughter of the late James Walter Moye and Helen Croy Moye. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William (Billy) C. Stafford, two brothers James Moye, Danny Moye, and one sister Ruth Stafford. Mary Jane is survived by her son, James Randolph (Randy) Stafford (Jennifer) of Asheville, NC, two grandchildren, William Christopher Stafford, James Alexander Stafford, one brother, Jerry Moye of Frisco, TX and one sister-in-law, Nancy Moye of Chesterfield, VA. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 8 at 1 PM at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with the Rev. Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. We will be observing COVID-19 precautions, please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
