Lydia Ann Fletcher Amos

Lydia Ann Fletcher Amos, 83 of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Mrs. Amos was born on March 9, 1935 in Pearisburg and was a daughter of the late John Luther Fletcher and Rosa Elizabeth Higgs Fletcher. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter (Jack) Lenna Amos. Mrs. Amos was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead and was a longtime Volunteer at Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg. She is survived by two daughters, Faye A. & Thomas Asbury of Pearisburg, Jacqueline A. and Dennis Baden of Norfolk, NE, two sons, Raymond Walter and Pat Amos of Elizabethton, TN, William L. (Willie) Amos of Pearisburg, Eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:00am at the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with the Rev. Shahn Wilburn officiating.
