Keith Alan Hobbs

Keith Alan Hobbs, son of Franklin (deceased) and Barbara, brother of Cheryl (Deb), and William, friend of Tracey, uncle of Astleigh (Pete) and Lauryn, cousin to many, passed away on November 27, 2019 as quickly as he entered our world on Oct 28, 1966. Keith filled the years in between with life, love, joy, sunshine and surprise. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, the Va. Tech Hokies, the Giles Spartans, video games, new movies, kitchen gadgets, and Mom’s Red Devil friends and especially loved the time with his Dad and the ROMEO’s at Hardees. Most of all Keith loved people. A special thank you to Kenneth Walker for the years of care and Carilion Hospice for their help these final months. Thanks also for Ruth and Gerald Duncan and Mary E. and Jack Byrd for all their help, and “thank you” Keith for all the love and joy you brought to us. Funeral services will be conducted at the Givens Funeral Home Chapel Monday, Dec 2, 2019 at 11:00 am with Charlie Henderson officiating. Burial at Birchlawn to follow. The family will receive friends Sunday Dec 1, 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral home. Donations in Keith’s name may be made to the Giles County Animal Shelter Spay and Neuter Fund.
