Justin Van Hemert

Justin Michael Van Hemert, 25, of Pearisburg, went to be with the Lord Friday July 8, 2011. Justin was born on December 28, 1985 in Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg and is the son of John L. Van Hemert and Iva Jean Allen Van Hemert of Pearisburg. Justin was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Robert D. Bowen. Justin was a member of Grace Covenant Ministries and The First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, a former member of the The First United Methodist Church U.M.Y.F. and loved his former councilors, Larry and Joyce Marion for their ongoing guidance. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Katrina Marie Van Hemert of Radford; paternal grandparents, Charles and Betty Van Hemert of Pearisburg; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Loudy Bowen of Pearisburg. Justin was also loved by numerous, aunts; uncles; cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg. Pastor Tracy Allen, Justin's special uncle and spiritual guide, and Dr. Brad Scott will be officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Matthew 19, verse 26, "With God, all things are possible."
