Joseph (Joey) Dean Martin

Joseph (Joey) Dean Martin, 56 of Pearisburg, VA. passed away suddenly Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Mount Morris, PA. Joey was born on August 29, 1956 in Pearisburg and was a son of the late Earl Lee Martin, Sr. and is survived by his mother Louise Tingler Martin of Pearisburg. Joey was a 1974 graduate of Giles High School and worked for Lisk Trucking Co. for many years. Joey is survived by one brother, Earl Lee Martin, Jr., of Pearisburg, one son Joseph Cole Martin, one daughter, Brittney Jo Martin, three grandchildren, Pressley, Tayla and D.J. all of Dublin. He also has two wonderful working buddies, Ted Hickox and Danny Biles both of NC. A memorial service will be held, Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg at 4pm. The family will receive friends at Givens Funeral Home from 2 – 4pm before the service.
