JAMES (JIM) LYNWOOD MARTIN, 74 of Christiansburg, VA, crossed over on Good Friday, April 18, 2014. Jim was born on November 1, 1939 and was a son of the late Tracy and Mary Allyne Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, William P. Martin; half-brother, Ronald Runyan; and son, Barry Wade Martin. He is survived by his daughters Dianna Martin Givens and husband, Robert, of Pearisburg; Lisa Martin Moser and husband, Buster, of Christiansburg; Tina Saul Moon and husband, Eddie, of Lowndesboro, AL; brother, Jack Martin and wife, Judy, of Dublin; sister-in-law, Joyce Martin of Martinsville; grandchildren, J. Michael DeHart of Blacksburg; Markie Moon Geon and husband, Steve, of Prattville, AL; Victoria Norman-Moon of Deatsville, AL; Amburlea Moser and Elijah Moser of Christiansburg; and great-grand children, Tucker Geon and Alex Geon of Prattville, AL; nieces Anne Martin Benton, Brook Martin Hankins, Tracy Martin Lucas; and nephews William P. Martin, Jr. and Rob Martin. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. The family is in the care of Givens Funeral Home.
