James Earnest Caldwell

In Loving Memory of James Earnest Caldwell CALDWELL, JAMES EARNEST, 80 of Pearisburg, VA passed away Sunday, February 27, 2005 at the Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg. Mr. Caldwell was born on October 10, 1924 in Rocky Gap, VA and was a son of the late Earnest and Amy Hagar Caldwell. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Albert Caldwell. Mr. Caldwell was the former owner of the C & S Oil Co. in Pearisburg, a member of the Wabash Oddfellows Lodge, the Giles Masonic Lodge # 106 A. F. & A. M., and the Pearisburg Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Louise King Caldwell of Pearisburg, one step-daughter and her husband, Sally and Ralph Lambert of the Little Creek community in Bland County, VA. of Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with the Rev. Wayne Monroe officiating with an Oddfellow graveside service and entombment following in the Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg from 6 – 8.
