Goldie Irene Price Spaur, 91 of Pearisburg departed this life on Friday, May 17th. She was the daughter of late Ollie Hurst Price and Robert Carl Price. She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard H. Spaur, a daughter Wanda Lynn Taylor and her brothers. Jim, Bill, Doug, June Price and a sister Helen Brumfield. She is survived by two brothers Jack and Harold Price. She is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Harrell and Wanda Stump. She leaves to cherish her memories to her son John Leslie, his wife Mary, and her grandson Nicholas Spaur of Pearisburg. Along with Arthur Taylor, his wife Teresa, also her grandson A.C. Taylor and his wife Hiromi Taylor of Ann Arbor Michigan. Two very special caregivers, Dana Nicholas, Mindy Mutter and the many others who helped in care. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11am at the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, VA. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg from 10 – 11 am on Monday before the service. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
