Gloria Ann Bostic Lucas

Gloria Ann Bostic Lucas, 53 of Narrows, VA, went to be with the Lord Tuesday morning February 1, 2011 at her home after a two year struggle with esophageal cancer. Ann was born on October 15, 1957 in Pearisburg and was a daughter of Robert Eugene Bostic and Doris Jean Albert Bostic. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg. Ann loved starting her vegetable garden, planting her flowers and she loved taking care of her family. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband James Michael (Mike) Lucas of Narrows, three sons, William Michael (Billy) Lucas of South Boston, Cody Benjamin Lucas of Narrows, Robert Eugene (Bobby) Lucas of Narrows, two sisters, Patsy B. French and husband Bobby of Pearisburg, Beth B. Sfalos of San Antonio, Tx and one granddaughter, Dacoda Lucas. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 4, 2011 at 2:00pm with Dr. Brad Scott officiating with entombment following in the Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg from 6 – 8 pm.
