Eugenia Snidow Moses-Journell

Eugenia (Jeanie) Snidow Moses-Journell, 53 of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday February 3, 2014 at her home. Jeanie was born on May 9, 1960 in Pearisburg and was a daughter of C.R. (Buddy) Moses of Pearisburg and the late Rebecca Hargis Moses. Jeanie was a graduate of the Berry Academy in Rome, GA, an animal lover and an active member of the ASPCA, and a loving mother, daughter and sister. Besides her father, she is survived by, two daughters, Jessica R. Journell of Christiansburg, Luci Caitlin (Cati) Journell of Pearisburg, one son, William J. Moses of Pearisburg, one sister, Carroll M. Garland and husband David of Richmond, one niece, Rachel Garland of Richmond and her constant companion, Precious, the chihuahua. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg with the Rev. Dr. Brian Birch officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 - 8 at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg. Memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA or the Montgomery County Humane Society Animal Shelter.
