Edith Lore Pack

Edith Fay Lore Pack, 94 of Saint Albans, WV, formerly of Pearisburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Mrs Pack was born in Ramage, WV on Jan. 14, 1917 to the late William Andrew and Nora Elmeth Quesenberry Lore. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Karl C. Pack, Jr., son, Carl C. (Buddy) Pack, III, five older brothers, Marvin, Everett, Warnie, Edgar and Clarence Lore, son-in-law Stanley S. Kinder, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Karl C. and Laura Elmore Pack, Sr. Mrs. Pack lived most of her life in Spring Hill, WV, where she was a long time employee of Haddads. Mrs. Pack retired and moved to Pearisburg where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg. For several years she was the caregiver for her mother-in-law Laura Elmore Pack. Mrs. Pack is survived by her daughter, Carroll Pack Kinder of St. Albans, WV, three grandchildren, Robert Stanley Kinder, St. Albans, WV, Karen Fay Kinder Hoover and husband Dan Hoover of Bridgeport, WV, John Carl Kinder and wife Lorraine of Milton, WV, four great grandchildren, Shane Kinder, Rachael Kinder both of Milton, WV, Sarah and Andrew Hoover both of Morgantown, WV, one great-great granddaughter, Abigail Kinder of Milton, WV, sister-in-law, Nita Carr of Princeton, WV, brother-in-law, Sidney Pack and wife Theresa of Cross Lanes, WV, six nieces and seven nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 2:30 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg with Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the church on hour before the service from 1:30 to 2:30pm. The family is being served by Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg, VA.
