Cecil Richard Doyle

Cecil Richard Doyle 87 of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2014 at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Pulaski, VA after a long illness. Mr. Doyle was born on April 17, 1927 in Bluff City, VA and was a son of the late Hayden Thomas Doyle and Ida McKinley Smith Doyle. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maxine Pyles Doyle, a daughter, Sandra Ann Doyle Ratcliffe and one brother, Edwin Paris Doyle. Cecil was a WWII Army veteran , was a member of the Pearisburg Baptist Church and was a retired Train Crew Operator at Allied Chemical in Hopewell, VA. Cecil had a great sense of humor and a smile always and he loved his cat Mollie. He is survived by two sons, Richard Eugene Doyle of Pearisburg and friend Bev Fuller of Pearisburg, Robert Lee Doyle and wife Cindy of Colonial Heights, 5 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two sisters, Emma D. McCroskey of Covington and Mary Ann D. Wilkinson of Oklahoma. Mr. Doyle will have a private interment at a later date.
