In Loving Memory of Billy Gene Ramsey RAMSEY, BILLY GENE, 72, of Bedford , VA passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2006.  Mr. Ramsey was born on September 29, 1932 in Cherokee, NC.  Mr. Was Ramsey was an Air Force Veteran.  He is survived by his long-time friend and companion of 23 years, M. Joann Munsey of Bedford .  Survivors also include the following loved ones, Michael and Elise Munsey of Roanoke, D. Preston Munsey and Alexandra Viele of Roanoke, Kevin, Joanna, Lindsay and Alexander Merritt of Roanoke, Roberta Arthur of Bedford and Richie Turman of Bedford.  Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 2:00pm at Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg with Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00pm Thursday, before the service at Birchlawn Abbey.
