Bill Gust Psathas, Sr.

Bill Gust Psathas, Sr. 87 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at his home. Bill was born on September 21, 1929 in Elbert, WV and was a son of the late Gust Harry Psathas and Mary Tourlakis Psathas who immigrated through Ellis Island from Milos, Greece. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Bateman Psathas, one sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Paul Stone and one brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Jenny Psathos. Bill was owner and proprietor of Capitol Café in Pearisburg, was a member of Giles Lodge # 106 A.F & A.M , a member of the Kazim Temple and Giles Shrine Club and most of all was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to all he met. His greatest wish was to be with the love of his life, Bonnie. He is survived by one son, Bill Gust Psathas, Jr. and Judy of Narrows, one daughter, Amy Psathas and Dennis Dove, one brother, George G. Psathas and Janet of Pearisburg, one sister, Sophia P. Poulos of Fredericksburg, five grandchildren, Derek Perkins, Rachel Reed, Emillee Dove, Adam Burton and Jarrod Burton, two great grandchildren Braylon Burton and Rilee Burton and sister-in-law and brother-in- law, Barbara and Willy Overton of CT.
