Betty Jo Williams Reynolds

Betty Jo Williams Reynolds, 77 of Pearisburg, VA., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at her home. Betty Jo was born on March 31, 1947, in Pearisburg and was a daughter of the late William “John” Andrew Williams and Alma Louise Songer Dowdy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Roscoe Dowdy, 1 brother, William A. “W.A.” Williams, special niece, Sherrie Smith and nephew Barry Williams.

Betty Jo was a life-long resident of Giles County. She loved being a CNA, working for Carilion Home Health for as long as she could work. She loved caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert Edward Reynolds of Pearisburg, daughter, Kim A. Meadows (Kip) of Pearisburg, 3 grandchildren, Kara Meadows, Leslie Whitlow (Brett), Anthony Meadows, 5 great grandchildren, Payton Hope Clark, Wyatt Lane Clark, Madison Leigh Whitlow, Emma Grace Whitlow, Luna Rose Whitlow, brother, Roger Lee Williams (Betty) of Pearisburg, sister, Karen Williams of Narrows and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 2pm at the Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg with the Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service from 1 – 2pm.
