Barbara "Bobbie" Louise Jones Vinson

Barbara “Bobbie” Louise Jones Vinson, 76 of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at her home. Bobbie was born on May 20, 1943 in Lynchburg, VA and was a daughter of the late Henry Williston Jones and Louise Doss Jones. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Stephen Matthew Vinson. She was a graduate of Bluefield College and Radford University, an elementary school and pre-school teacher and a member of the Angels Rest Baptist Fellowship in Pearisburg. She is survived by her husband Stephen Talmadge Vinson of Pearisburg, two sons, Paul Talmadge Vinson (Veronica) of Pearisburg, Mark Timothy Vinson (Mary Carolyn) of St. Petersburg, FL, two daughters, Dorinda Jeanelle Vinson of Christiansburg, Faith Joyelle Huffman (Dwight G.) of Bellevue, NE, two grandsons, Cory Vinson and Camden Mariotti, two granddaughters, Gabrielle and Kinsley Huffman and one sister, June Dale Dunn (Harvey Preston) of Forest. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 12:00pm at the Angels Rest Baptist Fellowship Church in Pearisburg with Pastor Craig Whittaker and Dr. Don McKinney officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
